The Nanjing Design Institute of the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture is a professional design services organization. It was founded in 1985. Operating as an independent corporation, the institute has been designated Grade B in agriculture, forestry and architecture by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture.
The institute offers rich experience and broad and creative capabilities. It has a capable staff of 47, among whom 41 are highly educated technicians with 26 senior engineers, 3 Grade-A architects and 3 Grade-A civil engineers. Employing advanced design methods, modern equipment and well-qualified technicians, we have attained a very high level in CAD, with 98% of the drawings done by computer. In the domestic market, we are strong competitors in architectural and engineering design.
The institute has architects, civil engineers and electrical engineers on staff. We specialize in HVAC, water supply, waster water control and economics. We also have specialists in agriculture, forestry, town planning, interior design, civil engineering, electrical engineering and artificial intelligence.
Since 1985 we have contracted to carry on all kinds of large and medium-sized projects, including engineering design and consultation in agriculture and forestry and industrial and civil engineering design. Among our major projects are many agricultural and public buildings, excellent hotels, hospitals, colleges and universities, interior design, laboratory and research buildings and factory and cold-storage buildings for the industries of instrument, light industry, machinery and chemistry. We have carried on some planning and design projects for small towns and agricultural model districts. We have also conducted the feasibility research and technological consultation for some agricultural and forestry projects.
"Quality First" is our rule. By treating every project with meticulous care, we have gained a substantial reputation, and at the same time benefited the society. We have received Excellence in Design commendations from the national government and the ministry. We have been awarded 10 excellent design prizes by the Ministry of Agriculture.
